Hockey Season: The Sport That Never Stops
Although the minor hockey season technically ends by the summer, hockey is a sport that can benefit from training all year round. And with so many Covid-19 restrictions finally lifting, parents and kids alike are ready to get back to doing the things they love.
As such, parents are finding that there are more eager team players than there are available classes. Whether within swimming, golf, soccer, lacrosse, summer daycare or even campgrounds – reserving a summer spot can prove difficult. So we encourage parents to do so early!

Learn to Skate: NHTC Main Rink
This 4-Day Camp teaches the fundamentals of skating in a positive and encouraging environment. The skills learned throughout the camp will provide skaters with the basic skills and techniques to continue into Hockey, Ringette, or Skating for Recreation.
Introduction to Hockey
This program is for players who can already skate or have graduated from our “Learn to Skate” program. It is designed to teach a combination of skating, puck control, and teamwork as an introduction to hockey.
